You should also note that cars that require replacement parts more often are stripped quickly in bone yards and the carcus is recycled sooner. Some of the more expensive makes get stripped quickly to have the parts sent away for re-manning & re-sale. Thus the carcus is recycled quickly. YOU seem to be poorly informed & ill-qualified to make the statements in your post. See line 2.
Furthermore, your experience in your little saab world at one bone yard is not necissarily representative of the entire automotive industry. See line 2.
Additionally, many of the cars you noted in your bone yard as alternatives to American cars cost twice, three time, & more what a typical American car costs. Based on dollars spent per mile, American cars compare quite favorably to those makes. See line 2.
