hey, anyone have an idea how they compare? they seem like they'd be powerful, but do they have as much torque and stuff as well? just wondering-- how do the two cars stack up against each other?

They are SLOOOOWWW. I drove one at my job (an off-lease). Anyway, super suspension, superb fit and finish, but it was just very slow. I expected it to be alot quicker, but alas, it was not. My CSVT is more fun to drive for sure and I don't think I'd have a problem beating one.

Took my best friends at the track. I was sleeping at the light and pulled him in buy the 1/8 mile. He has a cat back and that is it.

Later,

Eric

The new S4 is a 334hp 4.2 liter v8, with all wheel drive. They compare to BMW M3. S4's are very much better than the A4 by a long shot. I think the late S4 is 2.8ltr turbocharged, so there not much of a difference either way. S4's are a step way above the A4, and I beleive all thats offered in the A4 is either a turbo 1.8 or a n/a 2.8. S4's are awesome.

Well aren't you just full of information

We are talking about the A4 not the S4. HUGE difference as you so enthusiasticly(sp?) stated above.

Do not rule out the A4, with proper modification it will beat most cars on the road.

I was just stating that the S4 is very different than the A4, and since jmgilman brought it up just 2 posts before my original post its not like I was talking out of left field. But, I forgive your crankyness since it is early in the morning.
