the type of Recaro I got is a touring seat in the Trend/Style series. They retail at over $800.00 now, but I got a dealer demo seat for just over $200.00. The inflatable lumbar support wasn't working, so I took the seat apart to repair it, and was very impressed with the construction. I think it would hold up quite well under your conditions. The foam is substantially firmer than the Ford seat I replaced, and there is a full shell for the seat bottom and back.
