so the power run down driver side, signal down passenger side. but what about at my amp rack. i'd have to face my amps the same way to keep the connections on the same side. if i swung one around then the connections would like cross. or how about if the amps r fine. the speaker outs that i'm running to each door, can they cross the power. i'll have to run them up the driver side to get to the 2 driver side doors. is this gonna be a problem or r rcas what cant cross power line and speaker wire is ok.

Here's my solution: Run the power wires along the surface of the amp rack, next to the amps.
Suspend the signal cables (speaker wire & RCA's) from the underside of the rear package shelf, above the amps. You can use zip ties or split loom tubing to make the results a little neater.
If your amp rack hangs low enough there will be no "crossing of the streams"

what about at the sides of the car when the speaker wire is running up the driver side to go to the doors while power wire is running down the side

2 options:
You can tap into the factory wiring harness behind the glove box and let the factory wires do the work. They are 16ga and will work fine...run your own wire up to the factory harness and solder it.
If you want to run your own speaker wire, use the transmission tunnel to bring the wires to the rear doors. You can run the speaker cable under the front seats. The streams will cross at the the driver's side rear door only...tape the wire to the inside of the trim panel to keep it away from the + power cable. The wire will be close but it should not touch.

gotcha so speaker wire up the middle then cut over to each respective door. and where it does cross the power wire on the left somehow dont let it touch...elevate it or something. maybe i'll run some wire loom for that "crossing". i cant wait to finish this only to have no hu. still waiting on my stereo shop guy. this is why ordering online is so much. thanks arclight. you've answered alot of my questions. i just want to get this right and post pics to show off afterwards.
