Did the miss go away ? Was it the wires ? How do you know ? Have you ever had any of your plugs crack ? What did you pay for the coil pack ? I am having recurrent missing problems that I just can't seem to track down. The car checks out perfectly on the diagnostic, but every couple of days one of my $10 Motorcraft plugs has a cracked insulator. The dealer says it's impossible for an engine to do that to a plug. So I paid $160 for the dealer to install the plugs, and now they're busted again, so we'll see what the dealer has to say now. Because I told them SPECIFICALLY that it was busting plugs, and that it had done it 3 times prior. But they blamed the breakage on me. Now they can't use that excuse.
