Amsoil is about $4/quart, is rated for and, as mentioned, holds up under extended drain -- 15K mi in my CSVT.

Just do the math re: cost per-quart vs cost per-mile, and then factor-in the amply-documented ability of Amsoil synlubes (engine oil and ATF in our case) to extend the working-life of the powertrain by 3X its factory-rated expectancy as compared to operation with conventional lubes ... Do that and you'll see a switchover to Amsoil is a no/low risk no-brainer for any properly-maintained vehicle with as much as 100,000 miles on the clock.

Availability is as close as www.amsoil.com or maybe, more locally, in your yellow pages or via www.switchboard.com
