98 SVT, clutch masters flywheel, spec stage2 clutch, quaife ,y pipe. and only MOBIL-1 oil.

Or because the unique and stock engine was replaced with some random V-8 which makes it a not-RX7.

And no...I'm not calling Speed Demon rice, for the record. But, does anyone know what kind of mufflers he has on his tour? I really like the way his look & they are the larger style, but not quite "coffee cans"...  Sorry couldn't find better pic...

I have to agree...WTF was he thinking...sure hes got power...but you lost the uniquness of the vehical...especially since it is no longer offered here in the states. Oh well to each his own.....
Aslo Might i ask how he fit the V8....My friend has 2 last gen RX7 and we can't see how a V8 could fit!

Go to Grannysspeedshop.com and check out the 5.0 swaps. That 5 litre looks kinda small in the engine bay of a 2nd gen RX-7. I had a second gen with a worn out rotary engine & wanted to do this as an entertaining project, but didn't have the money at the time.
Uniqueness lost. Yes. Easy to let go when you're looking at a $1200 engine re-build versus buying a banged up $500 Mustang as a donor. A few years before my brother had an old Capris 5.0 HO with a bad steering rack that got rear-ended. I woulda given my right arm for that engine!
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

No, the RX8 is a 4 door. They're bringing the 2-door (the RX7) back soon.
