Gotta go with the modded GT500. I have loved the GT500 since I was little and that just adds a nice amount of modern flare to an already awesome car. Plus it has nitrous!!

i'd take the 05. Carol Shelby is a whining jackass sometimes. he screwed the Series 1 owners, has run his company and many of its subsidiaries to the ground with bad business practices, and sues any random-basement kit-car manufacturers for using cars that remotely resemble his (and many times perform better than his).

he needs to be stopped.

I'd have to mix the two. I like the Eleanor in Gone in 60 Seconds, but they changed some of the lines it seems to make this kit car like thing, I don't like it as much as the real Eleanor. I think an 05 in silver, with the black stripes, some tasteful lights and a nice set of Halibrands or something, that would be sweet.

Its still an affordable car. It just depends on what model you get. Also remember im only 18 right now , ill probably be 20 by the time I can get one. But I agree with you partly , although if it WAS made into an affordable car everyone and their mother would complain about its 'fit and finish' or 'build quality'.
