well in my case... I have stoped modding to save up for a bike so i would definelty start with that. But seeing that you still are making payments on the Csvt.... the smartest thing would to be payif off first, then get a bike. I wouldn't like to have two payments a month plus insurance. Thats just being smart. Thats why i have a 95 se with no payments hehe...so You know whats next for me either a GSXR 600 or ZX6R. Now which bike would you choose?

If it makes you feel any better, I've been contemplating selling both of my Contours and just buying a Wrangler.
Lisa has her '02 Jetta 1.8T so if I ever get the urge again to mod it...it'd be there.

Do that. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.
It would be nice to have my car paid off, then I wouldn't be quite so worried about the costs of the repairs on it these next few weeks (guesstimated between $500 and $1000). Expect the unexpected, and save to pay off the car so you won't have to deal with excess 'surprise' payments later on.

i meant GSXR 750* i dont know if the R makes any difference though.
My payments for my car are only 190 and my insurence is only about 155. so im not struggling by any means to pay those bills. if i got the bike it would be paid off so no payments on that.

Is this your first cycle, or have you been riding for a while?

Get the bike...you'll love it!!! But for a "first bike" I wouldn't go getting a gixxer 750 or R6.

its "my" first bike i have some experience on friends bikes. i know a Gixxer 750 is fast for my own first bike but from what ive heard i would get tired quickly with a lesser bike.
