Go with 17's, you won't regret it. I drive in a horrible area for roads and I have the SVT (heavier than regular ones) and it's just fine with Eibach's and BAT struts.
Chris, those look great. I might be considering them next year.
And those Wilwoods are BOSS!! I may be doing that, not sure yet. Did it increase the rear rotor size? Wait, the pics right here. 
EDIT: Yes, they are DEFINITELY bigger.
