Damn! That seems high!
Is it possible to be too high?
Isn't 15.5 V about right?

Hmm, this is eerie, I was just thinking of my car, and it's voltage. I had another sparkplug crack, and how could it crack ? The parts guy said I broke them or there was something wrong with the car. The service manager said no way the car could break insulators on a sparkplug so it was the parts guy or me who had dropped them. I spent another $130 having the car go to the dianostic machine at the Ford dealer to be told there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. But something is cracking those insulators, could it be too much voltage ? You have had broken plugs too. I very, very carefully put new plugs in 5 days ago. 2 days later the car is missing again, and I have a broken plug. There's no freekin way I broke the plug while installing it. Or why would the first set of Motorcrafts last 1 whole month, THEN break. No, no, no, no, something is breaking them, and I'm thinking it's too much voltage, not insufficient voltage like I originally suspected. Before I pick the car up I'm going to have Ford check the voltage, because I bet like yours, mine is too high.
