It would make sense, but due to car repairs and books all computer-related purchases have been put on hold till a while from now. The latest computer (middle monitor) got a hand-me-down mouse and keyboard even.

The $69 iPod was originally $299. Subtract $30 for showing my college ID, making it $269. Then: Apple is currently holding a promotion that if you buy a PowerBook or iBook and an iPod you get a $200 mail-in rebate. Since I was buying the PowerBook already (of which I also saved $300 via educational discount and saved more by buying in sales-taxless New Hampshire), I simply count the rebate as toward the iPod.
Good desks guys! Keep 'em coming!

This one is about 2 months old. I shot it for a friend who wanted proof that I cleaned up my office since his last visit. It usually had 8 stacks of papers all over it along with 20 post-it notes all over the place... The two cheapo desks rammed together are now gone and I finally have a much nicer looking desk and layout on the opposite wall. My wife hated showing people my office beforehand!

The problem with America is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I'm dating myself (or at least my Linux experience), I know. Rest assured I'm running MUCH more current versions or RH and SUSE these days...
Yep, most of it is for work. I've got 3 other servers in the basement (fans are too damn loud on the AIX system and the 1U rackmount I have down there).
Those are twin 19" Samsungs on a Ergotron pedastal. I've got the left one hooked up through a KVM so I can toggle from it to my server below.
I tried getting my boss to go for a triple-mount setup (2 19"s and a single 21" up top) so I wouldn't have to go KVM, but that wasn't happening. I may end up doing this anyway, as I've got another test box coming in and I'd like the current two that I've got on a KVM be up full-time on seperate monitors...
