It's a lot closer than Skyline and it's a cool drive.
Moxnix is right - Cooter's is on the way to Skyline Drive and not that much closer. If you do one, you might as well do the other.
I suggest we do the Vienna Inn. Great, cheap food, similar to the Stained Glass Pub, plus age doesn't matter and it's open till like Midnite.
Great place, but gets crowded, and parking sucks.
- 105 miles worth of twisties (one way if you go to the end) and the scenery is incredible.
- Nice flat straight aways, with a minimum 70 mph speed limit.
No offense, but it's going to be too crowded to expect to drive fast. Plus it's really not safe to do so anyway. But that would still be my vote - drive along Skyline Drive, pick a spot to park/BBQ.
