so far after having a chip put in and switching to amsoil the car shifts incredibly fast. the shifts are so firm and so fast that if you blink you will miss it. you really can feel the shifts tho it just urches the car forward each shift but not in a barbarian way, it just feels nice and tight - the way the car should have been from the factory.

id say that if the shift was taking 0.5 seconds to shift each gear now its maybe 0.1 seconds. im going to have to get a small vid of it shifting to show it. it also holds gears nicely even coming down to 0 it holds them like an MTX. you can tell its locking the TC alot faster as well, no more jumping rpm when just touching the gas, it just goes in that gear where it is.

Im 98% satisfied so far. only thing stopping me from being 100% is the flashing O/D light. the codes its giving us so far are really wierd. we're getting things like the resistance when your in each gear (P-R-D-2-1) is a little off. and a few sensors being a little off as well. im contributing that to the chip and extra wiring the pcm isnt used to. but the codes arent damaging at all. we're trying it on a trial basis to see if they do stay, or if the tranny does anything wierd, if so the chip comes out. so far it hasnt and the chip is doing its job.

the people we got this from says that alot of contours have had these put in with no problems. so we'll be in contact with the company to see what may be going on.

vid coming soon...
