The best thing you can do for a low mileage the CD4E is install the SK-CD4E-JR shift kit, external filter and cooler. I donâ??t think raising the line pressure is a good thing to do to a CD4E since they have been known to burst torque converters and bend pumps due to high pressure. Raising the CTL pressure (thatâ??s probably what they are doing via the PCM) will make for hard shifts. The shift kit fixes some flaws in the CD4E and improves shift points and feel. I think it a great improvement.
