My tranny goes in on Tuesday for some work:
Flush from ford oil (put in after my rebuild) to Amsoil
possible inline filter
line pressure change
The line pressure change will be done by a small device that hooks into the computer to trick it into uping the line pressure. (not from Ebay trust me) The module costs about $100 CDN i believe.
They have been putting these into cars for some time with no negative results. when I was in last time they were putting one into a brand new 2003 F-250 King Ranch V10 for a guy who wasnt satisfied with the shift firmness.
This is not designed for the CD4E, but we are going to install it, and test it to see if it helps out and is safe. If it doesnt give results or gives unwanted results it will be removed.
The model we will be using is for another car of similar weight/power.
I will post guinea pig results after Tuesday to see how it worked out.
