Highway 9 is okay. Whatever you do, do NOT get on 236! I just drove through that part getting into Big Basin State Park yesterday. Our "guide" manage to lead us into SINGLE LANE road, and I was driving a 15-pax van, and my partner behind me was driving a 25-seater minibus! Eeek! We just about forced two other cars off the road (not on purpose!)
