Highway 9 is okay. Whatever you do, do NOT get on 236! I just drove through that part getting into Big Basin State Park yesterday. Our "guide" manage to lead us into SINGLE LANE road, and I was driving a 15-pax van, and my partner behind me was driving a 25-seater minibus! Eeek! We just about forced two other cars off the road (not on purpose!)

hey guys, i got some bad news...I may not be able to do highway nine in my car....my clutch is slipping....Now i have to find a new replacement that i can afford, becasue its cutting into the savings funds...this sucks!
I can go if Jen and I can cruse with some one.

I am sure you can ride with me, I don't think there is anyone else in my car except Diane.
Is mike driving? I know his brakes aren't good right now.

Don;t know, I found a good price for a speck stage 2 clutch, but now it has come down to finding a shop that won't charge an arm and leg.

I would really like to start participating in SoCal meets. I was wondering if you could send me a list of futer events. I can't make the 9/6/03 hyw cruise even though i only live 2hrs for that. When is the next one. I live in San Luis Obispo, CA

One thing I miss about living in the Bay Area are car / motorcycle meets. I live out in the desert now and well, I am close to Willow Springs, but other than that, it's just a bunch of dirt.
As for a list of events, most of the events are planned one-by-one with sometimes as little as a couple days notice.
You just have to keep an eye on the board.

Firday the 26ht of September, i will be at willow springs for the Redline track Event. Thats the next up comming event in the area....Im bring down 2 or 3 cegers, a few form NECO, some frinds of mine and my boy with his cobra stang.
There really is no schedule. We make plans roughly 2 weeks to a month in advance...although im trying to see if i can help organize things a little, but its hard when a lot of Nor calers do not post here....often atleast.

Since you aren't quite in the same area as all of us, you could also set up a meet yourself in an area that you know, maybe one that has some twisties, as well.
