The BAT kit is a nice drop...and being "matched"...it works real nice together. The drop is tasty, w/out being "gaaaaawdam that's a nice lawn mower you got there..."

You don't "need" the camber/caster plates with the BAT kit, as the drop will still put you in factory specs, tho just barely. But as you'll have it all apart, and can really set the camber/caster for optimum performance...I'd say get'em...you won't be unhappy that you did.
