All right, I'm absolutely nuts, I think.

I always thought the Supercharger was better than a turbo because the power was available right from the get go and there was no "tubo lag".

Now it looks like I'm reading here that the Turbocharger is better than the Supercharger!

My first question comes after doing multi searches regarding the Automatic (ashamed, looking down, kicking feet) Contour with the 2.5L Duratec.

I've found the "Novi 1000" S/C is supposed to fit the Duratec 2.5L but it's not specific about whether it's for the auto or manual.

Do I have any chance of squeezing out more power from my automatic in the Turbo/Supercharger field. or should I go with a superchip, dual exhaust and call it a day? Does the superchip actually work and what superchip comes the most highly reccomended?
