why didnt they just make a show with 5 woman helping a guy out. i owuld rather have a chic dress me up and stuff than a gay guy. what if the dude they help start to attract gay guys. i would rather have a chic pick my clothes so i know other chics would dig it. on top of that they make it seem as if us straight guys cant dress or take care of themselves or something. most chics think im cute and i dont have no gay guys picking my clothes or doing my hair. do get a good laugh out of it cause those guys are just goofy. i dont have anythign against gay people or anything i have gay friends and they just keep there homosexuality to themselves the way i keep my heterosexuality to myself when we play ball, work on our cars or hang out or whatever.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but generally speaking if a gay guy dresses a straight guy chances are the chicks will dig it. Haven't you heard the saying "All the good guys are either gay or married?" If you buy into the stereotype, gay guys tend to know what looks good on guys.

And you'd also be buying into double standards. If you buy into stereotypes that all gay guys are feminine "sissy" types that run around hitting on every guy they see you will be frowned upon by many and called ignorant for stereotyping. Yet if you believe like this show portrays, that all gay guys apparently have better fashion sense than straight guys, then its all cool. Hippocritical. Personally I haven't and probably won't ever watch the show and I don't care if other people do...but let's at least be consistent about our viewpoints on stereotypes here is all I'm saying. Either you believe stereotyping people is wrong or you don't...there's no in between.

He really didn't look all that interested in her but he was rather happy w/ his "new friends" (quoting the greek boy)hmmmmmmmmmmm

I told my girlfriend that this was probably his way of introducing the gay lifestyle to his family, to see how they react...(just a thought )

Hey JaTo...got any lamb chop recipes for the grill? I've always wanted to try, they look so good in the store.

Mix olive oil, a couple of shakes of basil and a small amount of rosemary in a bowl. Melt about 2 tablespoons of butter and also place in the bowl. Also add a couple of dashes of tabasco. I usually add a couple of splashes of Pino Grigio to it as well (you can pick up a bottle from a liquor store for $8-10 and it's GREAT to use as a cooking wine. Turns chicken into gold!).

Now get some garlic salt, cracked pepper, mix in a seperate bowl and use as a rub for the chops. I almost always use fresh garlic on everything, but when grilling, it not that good of an option.

Baste the chops with the olive oil mix on all sides. Rebaste on the grill when you flip them.

Grill 'em. Grilling time depends on how hot your grill runs, but you definitely don't want to overcook the meat.

Lamb has a ton of taste by itself, so you don't want to go overboard with any of the ingredients (at least I don't).

OPTIONAL: If you like more of a sauce than a baste, mix some white wine and stone ground mustard together with the olive oil rosemary. Basil colors the mustard flavor, so I leave it out. Still do the rub with the pepper and garlic salt and then coat all sides with the mix. You'll have to coat them again when you flip them on the grill.

Let me know how it turns out.

My personal favortie for lamb...gyros:

1/2 cup minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 pound ground leg of lamb (I prefer chopped here instead of ground)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 cup seeded and pared cucumber, diced
1/4 cup non-fat yogurt
1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
2 pitas
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
1/2 cup diced tomato

Spray skillet with non-stick spray and add onion and garlic. Cook until
soft over low heat stirring constantly. Place in mixing bowl with lamb,
lemon juice, oregano and cumin and mix thoroughly. Shape into 2 patties.
Place on rack of broiler and broil 3 to 5 minutes on each side, turning
once, or until desired doneness.
Combine cucumber, yogurt and mint in small bowl and mix. Cut around edge
of each pita bread and pull open to form pocket. Fill each pita with
half the lettuce and tomato, 1 lamb patty and half the yogurt mixture.

Oh man I'm gettin hungry.

That sounds good too...getting too close to lunch . Adding to my collection...
Speaking of gyros, this works really well w/ portobellos instead of the meat. I also like to lightly brush w/ butter & grill my pitas.

On subject,...uuummmmmm
