I need some help on what is going on with my brakes.

I have a 96 SE v6 auto with 4 wheel disk and abs and no t/c
My front brake rotors and pads have about 3500 miles on them. " Firestone parts " I went in for a oil change and tire rotion, I soon learn from the tech that my left front rotor has a big crack in it.Firestone replaced it for free but now when you hit the brake pedel it goes about 85 % to the flool befor you feel it starting to grab and then if you hit it again it will get stronger. Firestone has bleed it in many dif: ways,they went through a gallon of brake fuild by the way. All calipers are working and all seems to be in good working order. We even put on a new master cyl:with no change to the way it feels. I am at a loss with it.
