Arg... I guess I don't get this...
I take an 8" woofer, and mount it on a piece of MDF with an opening of 8". Then I take that whole 'assembly' and mount it to a 5 1/4" hole? What's the use? Won't the small diameter of the deck hole cause most of the bass from the 8" to get bounced around back into the woofer, not into the cabin? If anyone has done this (and I know some of you have), please please please post a pic of it.
