Hey Dave --

By "bottom mount" to a "baffle", is this what you mean?

I attach the 8" sub to a piece 3/4" MDF, with an 8" diameter opening. Then I attach the MDF to the rear deck, effectively using the MDF as a "spacer" or a 'step' between the speaker itself and the rear deck.

What would I use to attach the MDF to the rear deck without it looking silly... nuts and bolts?
