I have pioneer 6x8's in the doors of my car. i had terrible rattles in my doors untill i got a 10" polk sub and took all the bass off of the door speakers. my trunk doesn't rattle at all either so i'm all set. I think pioneer makes an 8" free air sub too. i've thought of just adding 6.5" component midbass drivers to the rear deck. yeah i know a lot of work, blah, blah, blah i've got the tools and the time just not the money. so yeah, that's what i think.
