Anyone familiar with these amps, specifically the Jensen KA4 model (50watts rms x 4 and with a lot of nice features)? I'm curious because I found one for $99.00 (I've seen other sites have them on sale for twice that price). I think they're supposed to be Jensen's "high end" and are supposed to be the "new" Jensen.

Please let me know if you have any information--they're site lists all the specs except the signal to noise ratio, which I would like to know.

I know that the "higher number is better" rule applies to signal/noise ratio, but what would be considered an "acceptable" signal/noise ratio if you had to pick a number? I would think that 95 or higher would be OK--what do you all think?

95 dB s/n ratio would be twice as noisy as 105, which is very high quality. So twice as much noice as virtually no noise is probably still acceptable.

My experience with Jensen amps is that they are not power hungry (they dont seem to draw a lot of power), and they run very cool. None of the several that Ive had ever ran the slightest bit hot. I have never had a problem with the sound quality, either.
