wasd just wounderin if haveing a 12 and a 8 would sound weird if placed in the same car? I have a solo 12 the hits from 20-100 and cuts out leaving an empty space were there should be bass so could I add a 8 inch sub with the 12 and adjust the frequency so that it only plays after a hundred?

Sure. There is no reason why you couldn't do that. It would be more effective to crossover the 12 at about 60 hz or so and have the 8 pick up from there.
