Well obviously your paying a premium for the Mobil 1. The protection is worth it to me. Personally, I will be purchasing the $17.xx 5 quart jugs at Walmart from now on as my car only takes 4.5 quarts.
If your motor lasts 20,000 more miles would it be worth it? Not saying it is a given but it is certainly possible.
Insinuating someone is crazy for using Mobil 1 is a little off base if you ask me.
