Well, as of yesterday, my car is not leaving the driveway until I can get it in to service.

On my way home from work, the O/D light started flashing. Now when the car shifts the car lunges forward violently. Hoping for an easy/cheap fix... probably not in the cards, knowing my luck.

well, car's going into service tomorrow, so I'll update what's going on tomorrow night.

I really hope it is nothing seriour. Have you done the TSS mod? Never know sounds like the old one may be on the way out.

nope... never did the tss mod. Thought it might have been that aswell, but since it's a tranny problem, figured I'd let a mechanic troubleshoot the problem. I was told that since my transmission fluid looked ok, it's a good chance that it's not a mechanical problem. But yah never know.

I have the same problem, been driving mine like it ever since it started, changed the fluid and the tss with no luck.....no tranny shop would work on mine even ford run away when you say it's a contour.
