Strange...I didn't have any probs running wires to the front doors,but the backs were nightmares and I left them out. I drilled I believe below..or above the lightswitch. I took the kickpanel off and determined where I could get access to the wires through there,and then drilled accordingly. I used rubber grommets and that black plastic wiring protector...stuff. Can't remember the name of it,but its flexible. I did this 5 yrs ago and have never had any probs through many winters. But it's a pain to drill at that angle to get it through. I believe I also used a round file once the hole was drilled to smooth out any sharp edges.
