I saw the same one. I actually gave it a quick once over to check for any evidence of CEG membership--nothing. I don't know whose it was but for the mileage that it had and the condition that it was in, $6,500 wasn't bad.

I know exactly where that is, I dont live to far away!!!
I checked out the the SVT at the gas station, the guys father owns that station and one in rocky point where I initially saw the car for sale back in June. While the mileage was low it was in really bad shape. The first time I looked at it the car wouldnt start, came back a week or so later and he got a new battery, it started but the car sounded like ass. There was an exhaust leak somewhere by the y-pipe, it had flows but the mufflers and tips were rusted like crazy, radio barely worked, sunroof shade didnt work to good, rear trunk release didnt work, the back bumper and rear door seemed suspicous, possible accident back there, and there were lots of little scratches all over it and several other minor problems! He may have cleaned the car up after I pointed all of this out, because everytime I pointed something out he said he would fix it
I low balled the guy offering $5k, he turned it down. Things ended up working out better in the end when I bought my current car off of another ceg'er in NJ!! Ended up spending a little more money, but got a car in perfect condition with a warranty!!

Don't ask me why but I remember that car for some reason. Probably cause I was wanting to get around you lol! Originally posted by mercman: Yes it was sliver, I hope I wonâ??t take any heat for driving a GA. It was just a rental.
I live on rowlinson dr. its just north of the airport and south of Moriches middle island. I smell a meet. I didnâ??t think anyone was out here. I saw a black SVT for sale at the citgo station on willam flyod. Does it belong to any of you guys?

Yeah, that seems to be the way of it around here lately, but to get things back on track...the CSVT that is screwed to the NYCSVT plate is a gorgeous piece of machinery, and should be revered for its greatness.
