Actually NO-ONE deserves a lemon, but yes I agree that those who buy without doing research are more likely to get a citrus like car.

So I agree that folks SHOULD do the research, but even those who own lemons PERFORM ALL THE RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE AND NOT ABUSE THEIR CARS deserve satisfaction.

We have stories here of folks who drag race their cars, break a differential or three, and still get tranny's replaced.

Others who are believeable, never beat on their car, get warranty repairs denied because some service writer claims the car was abused.

No customer who properly maintains a car they purchased with their money DESERVES a lemon. Instead they deserve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
