my check engine light came on the other day and i was hearing a ticking in my engine. i went and had a test run on my car and said cylinder 4 was misfiring. i did a tune up changing the plugs and wires which had not been done since the car was manufactured and my car has 94,000. the car runs a hell of alot better but the cylinder is still knocking. anyone have any suggestions on what i can to fix it or what it might be?

its coming from the top left of the engine, but when im under the car i can hear it there too. i changed my oil and the 5w-30 oil i dumped was like water. i moved up to 10w-40 and added this oil lubricant. i hope it helps. let me know if u can come up with something

Before you go nuts check the coil pack, #4 wire and plug. Arcing from a broken plug, wire, or coil can make a load ticking sound. Itâ??s best to check at night so you can see any arcing.

i figured out what the problems was, bad rod bearings.....400$ to fix. o well atleast i will have new ones
