It's BS! My car has 86k on is and the original pump, I'm not the only one either. Being used, your may already have been replaced. Just keep an eye on your temp gauge! FYI, It's not uncommon for water pumps to fail around 60K. The coolant system a high stress item. Just keep an eye on it!
