SVTimilate,
I'm glad someone finally asked me this. I Do not totally recommend this headunit. As far as standing out in the dash, not a real problem for me. As far as performance goes, this is an awesome H.U.. But... In the day time, when the sun is out, I can't read the display at all. Too shiny/ reflective. This totally sucks. I have to shield the display from the sun sometimes, so I can read the track number. Also, this unit replaced my panasonic cqdf55, I liked the 55 more because I could read the display in the daytime and I didn't have to switch between time and track number (you only get one or the other) By time I mean time of day. So, if your windows are tinted, this headunit may be ok, otherwise only drive with it at night. It does look really sweet at night. And this isn't only my problem, I have a good friend with the same issue and the same unit. If you do decide to get this unit for any reason, check e-bay, I got mine new, unopened for i think $280 shipped. Like I said, other than the display I am totally pleased, I might tint my windows so I can see it better... Oh yeah BTW, I don't have any pics, sorry. For the price you can't beat the 5v preamps, center channel out, and the 3dsb. I'm keeping mine, but it's up to you to weigh the pros and cons.
