If you want good living conditions then don't join the Navy. The travel is good but living conditions are horrible. You will sleep in a huge room with about 100 people with no air conditioner. BULL! Life at sea is tough, all berthing compartments have A/C which can have problems. The training is excellent, I spent fourteen months in one school.
