The good thing about your tat is the fact that it is pretty much vertically oriented so it won't look that bad when it starts to sag later, the bad thing is that it is cartoonish( that is just my opinion though, if it is truly something that you feel you like then that is all that is important). Hell i would be a huge hipocrite if i told you not to get a tat as i have 5 or 6 if you include the one that i have had covered up. Just know that there is a really good chance that you will get addicted to them and my advice is never pick a tat off of the flash boards in the shop as anyone can have that tat, get one custom drawn for you it is worth the extra time and money. I have the piece of mind knowing that noone will have the same tats as me unless i let them trace the ones off of my body.
