I understand you completely! I know that factory systems suck! My old TBird's audio system was designed to compete in IASCA (International Auto Sound Challange Association) competitions. Problem is that I'd like to keep my SVT Contour near stock, with the ability to return it completely factory condition. I don't want to hack this car up like my other ones. I have added new speakers to the factory locations, but need more power. Another reason I'd like to keep the stock unit is doesn't cost me anything and I already have the PPI ProMOS50 amp, all I have to do is wiring. Just looking for some info to make life easier.
