I love using XP. Ooops I said it.

Im not feeling the need to bash Macs or PCs like some of you. But I will say it sucks that Microsoft has a part in Macintosh as well, an even larger monopoly :-/

Macs suck in so many ways...the real was of bandwidth would be to type them all out.

i have both a windows machine and a mac and i prefer to use the mac because it hasent crashed and its easier to use. The only thing i use my windows machine for is gaming and in short bursts when i cant use my mac.

at college, i get a choice to use a mac or windows, if I am messing around because the assignment is done, i prefer xp. If I am doing my homework (graphics, web design) I choose the mac. So much faster working with real files versus temp files constaintly.

I don't understand all you guys having crashing problems! I run XP Pro at home and 2000 Pro at work and both are stable as a rock!

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Same here. I run both as well and I've yet to run into any consistent crashing problems. I've got a TON of applications on my XP system, so I do see it taking a dive maybe once every 2-3 months, but that's it.

Me, three.

My work machine is generally up for 2 or three months at a time, the only time I restart is for updates.

My home machine is typically up for a week or 2 at a time, as I'm always on it at home.

Both are Win XP Pro.

I do like Mac. They're fun to use, and frankly, OSX does rock. I want to play around with Safari a little bit, but, I haven't had the opportunity. I hear it's a blast. Where Mac, IMO, has always lead the competition is their aesthetics. Their machines are sleek, slick, and just look strong. Even their "cute" machines hold to a very Apple style.
