I am going to buy some Motorcraft plugs tonight.
Can the wrong plugs make it miss that much?
The ones in it are Autolites that I bought a Wally World.
The post suggesting that it could be a blown head gasket scared the S H I T out me!!!!
It did happen after the hose broke, but I'm pretty sure that the hose didn't break because the car overheated.
It seems irrelevant, but it was COLD (low 40s) the day it broke. I remember because I was replacing the hose and I had a RAGING cold or the flu.
It was running fine until I pulled in the parking lot where I work and saw steam.
I DEFINITELY DIDN'T DRIVE IT VERY FAR WITH IT HOT!!!!
I think it broke just as I turned the corner into the lot.
I drive 40 minutes to get to work on, so I would have noticed it getting hot.
