Can I put a mirko splitter on a zetec or do i need an SVT front bumper first?

mirko splitter is made only for the svt bumper, so since you have a 98+ get the svt front then mold the mirko to it and throw it on there.

need an svt front fascia. engine has nothing to do with it.

LOL, I don't know how you would close the hood if you did that... that's a lot of custom fabrication - but go for it, you might start a new trend.

I was actually looking at regular contour bumpers (my pre98 bumper) and where it has that little lip part at the bottom I bet u could hook the mirko on to that...although I've never seen a mirko in person I think it can be done...

Your bumper would be too small in that area. You would have to cut the Mirko apart and mold it back together. If you are doing that, you might as well go further and have much more fun with the tools and adhesives.
Jose97 did have an extension on his factory bumper. I will probably be talking to him one of these days I will ask him where he got it. Id tell you to PM him, but he doesnt have a computer right now.

no way i'd just bolt on on that little piece hanging...i still think it can work...it just wouldn't fit on like the way it does on an SVT...

I wasnt saying that it wouldnt fit, just that you would need to work with its width to make it work.
