OK, so meet at the cabins at 10am on Saturday? I'll be coming from Chattanooga with Lacy. Josh-what are you doing Saturday? I can't remember if you're watching the game or what.

I am going to my buddy's apt in knoxville for the game Saturday night. Kick off at 7:45 p. I will ride all day then head to his house late afternoon. Where are the cabins in Tellico?? The ones all the way up at the tackle store?? We could also meet at the first pull off area on Cherohala. Theres one not too far onto it.

you guys need to stop all that tennesee talk! I haven't read this thread in a minute and I'm tired, can somebody give me the addy so I can mapquest it?

who else is going to be there at the cabins friday afternoon? i assume the striped SVT, blorton, and JVT (simon?) - anybody else? i'm guessing we'll get there, check in, settle in, and then head out for a drive - just wondering if we should set a time for that as well. could say leave from CCV around 3 p.m. friday and make a loop or something...???

so how does this sound:

-- 3 p.m. friday meet/drive-out from caney creek; dinner afterwards at a place to be named later
-- 10 a.m. saturday meet/drive-out from caney creek

I too like the idea of Caney Creek being base of operations, since I don't have to go that far My wife and I should be arriving around 4-5:00 p.m. on Thursday, so were up for a Friday afternoon AND Saturday afternoon drive, whatever the rest of you guys wanna do. Were also looking at going to Gatlinburg as well, gotta check out some history while were there and maybe make some of our own I wonder if I'll be able to tune in the U of M game all the way down there Saturday afternoon LOL! If not, I guess I'll have to adopt Tennesse as my team for the weekend, just don't ask me to wear those orange creamsicle clothes, out of the question LETS GO BLUE! and lets go Vols See you guys tomorrow afternoon!

Just as an FYI...

I expect to arrive at Caney Creek no later than 4pm. My roomies, JVT and Simon, are expecting to arrive around 9pm.

Naturally, I'm hoping to get there earlier, but we'll see. I'm thinking about taking 28 up, and that will take longer than the more direct route. (But it's a *lot* more fun.)

One other thing...

I'm planning to take the 954 up. If you see a guy on a red/black crotch rocket wearing a silver helmet and a blue textile jacket and pants, that'd be me.
