I have a pair of Motorolla 2 way radios, whats our handle good buddy As far as the cops go, I have a question and I know it sounds crazy..."whats it like out there at night time?" and yes I'm serious! I mean we don't need to drive the tires off our cars out there at night time but maybe we could have a little bit more fun

Ask Chattavegas about night time and trying to video. Night time is great but you cant get extremely crazy. The corners are blind in the day time so at night you can actually see headlights coming. Cherohola is boring as hell at night. I suggest a pair of Sylvania Silverstar bulbs to light your way.

Why is the Cherohala boring at night? As far as the headlights go I guess I'm pretty lucky as I have the MM quad projectors w/ HID's (4100K Phillips kit) I tested them while I was down in WV on an old coal mine road and I had to use the high beams, period!

The Cherohala is about 40 miles long with no houses and long sweeping curves plus you cant see the scenery at night. We can do the Cherohala during the day because there are plenty of car photo ops up there. Then do the Dragon at night.

No offense, but that's just plain wrong.

The Skyway at night is an amazing experience, especially on a bike or in a convertible where you can actually see above you and notice that there are actual stars in the sky.

And no houses means a lot fewer worries about being pulled out in front of.

Boring at night?! Maybe from inside a cage while one plays video games and looks for photo ops.

Just what kind of meet is this panning out to be anyway?

Dan

Everytime I've been there at night it was so foggy you could only see about 10 feet.

Bah! I was driving down the interstate on Sunday and saw a couple in a Miata at a rest area just as it was starting to rain. Thought they had stopped to put up the top. About 20 minutes later they pass me by (had ma in the car, couldn't drive too crazy), top was still down. Pouring rain. Guy had on a hat, lady had a scarf over her head, but the top was down. Thought they were crazy. Maybe whatever mechanism puts the top up failed, or maybe they don't like the car and were trying to get it totalled out from water damage

Put JV in the lead at night time! He'll go zoomin through like nobody's business. Simon and I kept looking down the side of the hill for brake lights, figuring he had to have slid off somewhere.

My first time through the dragon was at night, but I didn't know I was on the dragon. Twisting and turning, thinking, "Damn, this road twists alot, what in the world is the dragon like???" Then all of a sudden I hit the motorcycle resort and realize I had just drove the dragon

eh, that was me a couple weeks ago. got caught in a sudden evening thunderstorm with the top down - and believe it or not, as long as you keep moving and keep the speeds above 30 mph or so, no water at all enters the cockpit. pretty cool. however, on the dragon, i daresay i'd be venturing into low-speed territory quite often, so the stay-dry-even-with-the-top-down-in-the-rain thing might not work so well then.

i'd love to have seen the expressions on people's faces as i drove by w/ the top down in the rain the other week, though....coulda bee priceless.
