Hey guys, here are the pics that I took from today (Saturday, August 16, 2003) at NE-Dragway.

I had a great time with everyone. My nephew Aren had an awesome time. Thanks for welcoming my nephew and future cousin-in-laws. They had a great time and had some nice things to say about everyone.

I hope the weather stays nice tomorrow...man, did it come down HARD when driving home. Hope everyone made it back ok.

Let's bring some awards to NE-CEG tomorrow!

pics look great! sorry i couldn't make it up there this year. things are pretty busy with school starting up in a couple weeks. still so much stuff to do.

and in the midst of it, i'm running around test driving cars. looking at a '94 Saab 9000 Aero. very sweet, cheap, and fast. gotta get used to that turbo lag, tho.

NE-CEG cleaned house today in awards.

Elky won first with the Merchants Choice award. (correct me if I wrote that wrong). It's an award that all the FFW vendors vote on for their favorite car in the entire show area. Go Elky!
Mike and I each received awards for Best Open Class, of the 5 that are given to cars that don't fit into a specific class on the award list.

elky's friend Andy also took home one of the 5 awards for best truck for his mint '93 Lightning.

Just think, if CEG'ers never showed, there'd be absolutely no Contour representation at FFW.

Good job everybody, glad to here you swept up today! After Sue and i got home I started to upload pics to the computer then to fototime, 212 pics taken, 16 uploaded at this moment....darn dialup!

Thanks for a great time, everyone! We had a great time (and got some sun again this year!). Some of us just don't like to wear sunscreen! BTW- my legs and arms are nice and tan today (face is still a tad red, but doesn't really hurt)! Ryan's neck is a different story! Ouchy!
