Any muffler shop should be able to do it for ya following the instructions-it's well worth it!! 
The problem is that here in Cali, no shop will touch your y-pipe. The state regulations have become absolutely ridiculous. You have to do it yourself or find somebody that can.
Take it off the car and try it I think then you could get a muffler shop to hook it up. Or take it off the car and go to a machine shop/welder that isn't a car guy.
