Did the optimized y-pipe mod today, pulls alot harder above 4K,and makes a much nicer growl, probably the
cheapest and best thing I've done to the car yet !!!!

After getting thru doing one,I would say once is enough, but
I would encourage everyone to do it,I took the wife out for
a ride last nite, and then went bombin around for a while
and all I can say is "WOW"

Did you use the "how-to" insturctions, or did you do it by ear? What exactly did you do to the Y, because alot of people "optimize" theirs, but do it different ways. Just curious as to what exactly you did. Glad it worked out for ya.

I did mine the other day also. I wouldn't do it again though. I didn't notice a huge increase, but I agree there was a slight increase. Mine was probably less noticable then yours since I pull much harder up top anyway.

The Duratec growl definately seems to get an extra set of teeth after this mod.

I pretty much followed the instructions exactly,it's just a bit time consuming is all,but well worth it !
