what i meant was seeing how that hood is a Mondeo hood will it go on a contour? I don't know if a Mondeo european name for contour please don't laugh

I'm the "guy". 
I got the car repainted painted white w/blue pearl and the flames for $1500 CDN 
I think next summer I'm gonna paint it all one colour...orange?

Yes the Mondeo is the euro version of the contour. I don't know if the Mondeo versions of those F-50 hoods fit right...probably not since nothing from a mondy seems to fit a contour but the gb that I pointed you to is for F-50 hoods that will be made for US Contours not Mondeos so they will most definitely fit.

If I remember it right, in your case, the cheap price was b/c the guy just started, and it was like his 1st job or something.
Anywayz, 4 grand is the minimum under normal circumstances...

I've never talked to anyone or seen anyone here who has ever painted 4g's for a paint job.
I would expect to pay 1500-2000 for a paint job...even if its respraying the same color and changing the front.

and for $1500 to $2000 you can expect just an AVERAGE at best paint job...if you want a better than average paint job its going to cost you...and if you can get a complete color change for the mentioned price than i wouldn't expect very much as far as quality goes...a great paint job costs $$$$$....
