I would think $4,000-7,000 for a quality, full color change.

I don't get it...... but then again I'm tired... lol.
But seiously.... some guy got his car painted for like $1500 with blue flames on the front. So I was thinking since I am doing only one color... this should be cheaper.

HAHAHAHA good one.
But if you want a quality paint job, be prepared to pay for it with one, maybe 2 arms and legs.

$1,000 will get you the cheapie Maaco paint job. Keep in mind what a quality, full color change entails. Just taking parts off, masking, and prepping takes a long time. Labor = $$$ in body work. Maybe some more experienced people will chime in on this...

I did a estimate for my car a few months back to repaint it back to the original color with some small body work, the paint & prep work came to 5400 something, this is with discount because they guy was our good friend, original color, with the paint baked. Everywhere else was saying over 6k. that was the complete car.
