Mine is my current daily driver, a 1986 Mustang GT. Love the 5.0 for power and durability: The engine internals have never been opened up in 206K miles. I replaced the original clutch at 200K miles; it still had some life left. I finally got around to replacing the original brake drums and rotors last month. Yeah, mostly highway miles, but the engine makes it to 5K RPM (a little above yellow line) at least once a week. I almost hate to let my 95 Contour GL V6 sit during the summer, but the Mustang is too much fun. At least until winter...
