then obviously you don't have a clue what the hell you are talking about either....it doesn't matter that its installed CORRECTLY....it is there to help pull the shifter towards neutral....which in turn makes it longer to shift between the gears period...it slows you down period....you don't need your shifter getting pulled toward neutral when you are trying to shift fast...

it doesn't matter that it came with it...my install is just as complete as yours is and i don't have the spring....and for that matter i was the second person on this site to install the steeda on a tour...i am not saying that the spring is hurting your car,but it is hurting your quick shifting...it is a worthless piece of metal,that hinders performance.....just because it came on the car doesn't mean it has to be on there for an install to be professional,and well done....

and btw demonsvt and others discussed this awhile back,and he stated that it is hurting not helping..and iirc he knows a few things about these cars...
